The Diamond Studio is committed to working with charities to give back to society and we have been involved with many organisations and charitable work.
Life certainly isn’t all diamonds and as part of society we believe it’s our duty to play our part and hope we can make even a small difference.
“People are like diamonds, we come in different colours, we have different qualities, some are worth more than others but if you look closely enough there is a sparkle in every single one”
Faith in Community Scotland is an anti-poverty organisation founded in 2005.
We share a commitment and passion to reducing poverty in Scotland
The charity focuses its work in the poorest 5% of communities in Scotland.
The organisation gives training, resources, advice and support to faith groups developing their potential to make a difference in Scotland’s poorest communities.
We do this because poverty and inequality ruin people’s lives. And as Scotland changes, with people of different faiths and cultures living alongside each other, we believe it’s essential to work together to reduce poverty and make our communities better places in which to live and work.

First established in May 1999, Glasgow the Caring City set about providing Humanitarian Relief to those made homeless by the wars raging cross the Balkans.
Ten years on and we carry the name 'Glasgow' with pride because we are Glasgow's Aid Agency.
For every disaster and relief effort in the over the past decade Glasgow the Caring City has responded effectively, compassionately and with the interests of humanity closest to our hearts. The message we carry is simple. Our City cares in times of needs, we work tirelessly to provide help to humanity all around the world in its darkest hour and we do so in the spirit of friendship, compassion and dignity.
The Diamond Studio has been involved with Glasgow the Caring City since the Tsunami. Most recently we have been involved with the Haiti Appeal to raise money for the victims of the tragic earthquake. The Diamond studio with friends Mister Singh’s and Alea Casino organised a Fundraising Event on February the 18th 2010 to rebuild the Good Samaritan School in Haiti.
"Seeing the tragedy unfold in Haiti was heartbreaking and the suffering that still exists is unimaginable. Doing nothing was just not an option and if something similar happened in Scotland one would hope and pray that someone out there would help us. Organizing the event and raising £23,000 was very much a team effort and although it's a tiny amount in the bigger picture we can at least feel we played our small part. The generosity of the people of Glasgow and the business community has been quite humbling, I feel proud to be part of what truly is a very caring city

The Diamond Studio is a committed supporter of Kidney Research and to raising awareness of Organ Donation.
The charities mission:
To fund life-saving research into kidney disease, to improve the quality of life of those with kidney disorders and to increase public awareness of kidney health.
We have supported the Saving Lives Ball and are involved in events to raise awareness of this debilitating illness.
In December 2010, The Diamond Studio was proud to hold a charity event in the Studio with 10% of all sales going to Kidney Research UK. The event was a great success and everyone enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, coffee and cupcakes. It was the perfect way to begin the Christmas shopping!
The Diamond Studio is looking forward to continuing to work with Kidney Research UK in 2011. In collaboration with Mr Singh's, The Diamond Studio is looking to hold a charity "love night" in the restaurant with our very own "Cilla" making romantic connections! The event will be in February, close to St. Valentine's Day, so look out for more details which are coming soon.
